Client Spotlight

Sculpted by Brandt Client Spotlight Ashley 1 year Transformation Starting weight 100lbs Today's weight 115lbs Current Macros Protein 110g Carbs training 185g Carbs Rest day 160g Fat 70-80g Refeed 1 x per week 300g carbs

When I first met this young lady she had the passion to workout hard, but a body that could not keep up to what she wanted.

Ashley was one of those, like most of us, do more and think we will see more results.

Ash was doing lots of cardio, working out with other friends, helping support their goals, playing squash, doing group classes, plus doing my training programs ontop of all this!

Her nutrition was non existent, following the world's myth protocols of low fat, low sodium, low carbs, and really low protein. Nutrition was super tough for her as she battled gut issues her entire life. Before working with me she had just stopped gluten and started to see positive digestive progress.

Nutritionally, she was always in a state of stress being under fed, over training and not getting adequate food and sleep to recover from all of this working out.

For almost about a year, I would throw little golden nuggets of information at her about what she could do to improve as she was not progressing and getting frustrated daily. I would mention sleep, individualised nutrition program, a proper training program, getting control of the out of gym workouts and get on-top of regeneration and stress management.

If you know Ash, she can be a stubborn little lady. She would kindly listen to the advice I gave, but not taking it or not ready. Then one day she said, I am ready for help, and away when went.

Ash wanted that fitness look. The look that goes with being strong, lifting weights and being able to do Chin-ups, pushups for days.

When we started, pushups and chinups were non existent, they were those bootcamp crappy pushups (elbows out and nose poking the floor kind). She had never lifting weights or used barbells, thus started from scratch. The plan I told Ash we needed to accomish these goals would probably have made other girls say "NO WAY" eating more and working out less, "NO THANKS"!

Thus, to make all of Ashley's goals come true, we first needed to fix what was occurring on the inside to help sculpt the outside.

We need way more rest and recovery. We need to slowly bring up calories so she would be eating in a caloric surplus to fuel recovery, training, and adding lean muscle mass. Plus Ash needed to trust the process and not be so dam stubborn (we went through that stubborn phase in the beginning as she was stuck in her old habits).

Well today she is doing chinups with added weight for reps. Squating and deadlifting double her bodyweight and she does pushups like a boss!

She has added muscle all over her body and in the right places (look at hose legs and back!)

She is eating more food than some of the men I train, and assimilating it very!

She is not doing all the extra workouts and cardio, simply sticking to the program.

She is managing her stress and makes sure she gets her sleep and recovery.

Digestion has only gotten stronger!

Now we are ready to do our first small mini cut phase to see all the awesome muscles we have built over this past year.

Great job Ash. Yes there have been bumps in the road as Ash can attest to, but a fitness journey is not complete without challenges to make you improve on that road.

Proud of you Ash:)
